OUR STORY

The Weaver’s Shed began life as a cloth-finishing mill, with parts of the building dating back to 1774 and its historic chimney reaching even further into Golcar’s industrial past.

It opened as The Weaver’s Shed in the early 1970s and later earned a reputation for good food and warm hospitality. Rooms were added in 1999, followed by a major refurbishment in 2010, while much of the building’s original character was carefully retained.

Today, The Weaver’s Shed brings together a bar, restaurant, rooms and welcoming spaces for weddings, functions and community occasions — a distinctive venue with more than two centuries of local heritage woven into its walls.
